Our powerful messaging system allows members to have real-time message conversations, phone conversations, and video conversations along with being able to send and receive date/travel proposals, trips, and virtual gifts. All these features are easily accessible from your inbox and any conversation with another member on the platform. To archive or delete a conversation, favorite a user, block a user, and report a user, find the gear icon in the top right header of any conversation.

The blue event symbolizes date plans or a calender event. This event can be created using approved proposals or the Date reminder tool available in any member's profile. Date reminders can also serve as a handy tool to remind each other of the date, time, location, and other small details of a planned activity. To create a date event with proposals, a proposal must first be approved by another member. Once approved, the proposal creator can view the green approved proposal event and click to "Send Date Reminder" in the drop down. Of course, you cannot use the date reminder if you do not have any approved date proposals.

The black event symbolizes a date proposal that has yet to be approved or denied. This event will turn green if approved and red if rejected. The approved event will let the proposal creator know the proposal recipient is interested in the proposal and they should proceed with further planning their date or travel plans. If a proposal is rejected, the rejected event will display the reason for the proposal being rejected. The proposal creator should try to create another proposal event if the other member simply wasn't interested in the proposed date idea or they can simply continue chatting, message events are just for fun after all.

The green event symbolizes an approved date proposal event. When a proposal is approved, this generally means both parties are on board with a fun date or travel activity. The proposal creator can take it one step further and use the date reminder option in the drop down to create a blue date event as a reminder of the date and all the details of the proposal at any given time. Proposal events are the easiest way for members to start connecting and breaking the ice, especially if they're prone to social anxiety or just a bit shy at first.

The red event symbolizes a proposal event rejected for one of the following reasons: the proposal recipient is not interested in the date being proposed, they're too busy but are possibly interested in the date at another time, and they're just not interested in dating or other activities at the moment. When a member is just not interested, the sender should try connecting with one the many other active members on the platform. There is someone out there for everyone and we're always approving new members around the world.

The pink event symbolizes a trip event when someone likes your trip. When a member shows interest in a trip posted in the invites section, the poster can approve that trip event and create a yellow approved trip event to let the interested party know they are also interested in connecting for the trip, date, or other activities. Members seeking to expand their search for their perfect match can browse and show their interest for any trips in their cities and around the world.

The yellow event symbolizes a trip that has been approved by its creator. This means the trip poster chose a member to be their date or travel partner for the trip proposal. The trip event then updates from pink to yellow to display all the information about the trip as a reminder. Once the trip is approved, both parties are pretty much stating they are on board with the planned trip. Communication is the key to making sure you are both compatible and the date/trip/travel plans don't end up derailed by miscommunication.

The purple event symbolizes a virtual gift sent to another member. Members can send gifts at anytime through the conversation with another member or directly within their profiles. Virtual Gifts are also a great way to grab a user's attention and break the ice. They're all about being one of our many fun side features for our members. If you really like a well written profile or had a great conversation with someone and are feeling generous, just send them gift of your choosing as a quiet compliment. They will love it!
